Der Kleine Nazareno e.V. (lit. The little Nazareno) is a registered association building Children’s Villages in Brazil. Instead of sending the usual ‘little-kids-with-sad-eyes-mailings’ to every household, we focused on guerilla marketing, targeting on a young audience with high income. Users could download a Widget, similar to the popular 80’s electronic game ‘Tamagotchi’. The child in the Widget reacts on the care (or lack of it) of the user. After a few days of play, a message promotes the idea of adopting a foster child in Brazil.
