The idea is simple: At Cinema Nouveau you won’t just watch a movie, you’ll see a piece of art unfold. Our campaign line, “Experience art in motion” was demonstrated by bringing the work of the “Old masters” to life. Because if ordinary movies are moving pictures, then art films are moving masterpieces: The big screen is the canvas of today. The rest of the campaign consisted of ambient media set in motion in shopping centres and outdoor café’s frequented by our cultured audience.
Outcome
Aside from the overwhelming public interest and regional media coverage, an unprecedented increase in ticket sales of over 42%, tell us that we moved people in the right direction: To Cinema Nouveau, of course.
