Execution
We launched a Facebook Application called 'Your Town, Your Story'. The application allowed users to choose between 15 different cities of Turkey. We allowed users to star in their own movies by customising the pre-recorded videos. The users were given the chance to add personal details to be more involved in the story, such their date of birth or profile pictures. Each video ended up at a crowded dinner table with Coca-Cola bottles, and presented a great harmony between the brand and the local foods. Users were able to share the videos on their Facebook profiles and spread the word.
Outcome
People loved the idea of being part of their own stories.
The easy to customise functionality of the application made the experience more unique for the users.
On the application's silent launch week, 5,751 videos were created.
