Being the leading brand in the soft drink category in Israel, Coca Cola is still able to surprise and create something new. This year it was The Coca-Cola Recycling Store, the first of its kind in the world.
The Recycling Store was a stirring and successful experience, promoting environmental responsibility and recycling. Families visiting the store were invited to bring used cans and bottles for recycling. For each used item, they received money that they could use to purchase products in the store.signs explaining the various stages in the recycling process were accompanied by experiential illustrations, keeping in mind the need for catchy, communicative content The store itself was designed in the spirit of the concept: The walls built from more than 38,000 disqualified cans and bottles, and 700 reused cartons.
To promote recycling, Coca cola decided to allow independent artists working with recycled materials to display their work or offer it for sale. Alongside, a series of unique, never-seen before branded products made from coca Cola packaging, were introduced. 13 days, over 50,000 visitors. All the stock sold out, proving that even after 40 years of presence in Israel, coca-cola is a relevant and inspiring favorite brand.
