Colman’s Mustard is all about being authentically English and two essential elements in English pride are language and food. How could we convey this in an interesting way?We wrote a campaign which spoke to the pride the English have for their food and the role Colman’s Mustard plays in that pride.But to truly convey authenticity, we had to speak a truly English dialect. So we wrote the entire campaign in cockney rhyming slang and made no apologies about it. Why? Well, because Colman’s Mustard is unashamedly English.
