Description
For ages, convenience has been seen as one of the great benefits of modern living. Easier is better. Disposable is king. In this idea, we show the troubling affect convenience is having on America’s National Parks and the planet as a whole.
Execution
As part of Subaru’s landmark National Parks Zero-Landfill Initiative, we were shooting a video series documenting the entire process of making the parks garbage-free, which gave us access to all the employees and landfill experts. We simply asked them about the many ways in which convenience impacts them and filmed the whole thing.
Outcome
To date, millions of viewers have seen the piece and helped increase traffic to the Subaru environmental site nearly 5,000 percent over last year, further establishing them as an environmentally responsible company.
