Description
The film features the unexpected format of an animated fairy tale. We see a typical princess, whistling to cute little forest animals, calling them to help sew her dress. Everything goes well until the animals suddenly begin to act like, well, animals. Wild animals. The character is attacked from all sides, is bitten and has her dress torn. Even the musical soundtrack stops playing. The poor thing runs out of the house, screaming, trying to shake off the animals, among which are a fox, a raccoon and even a brown bear. She discovers, the hard way, that wild nature is, obviously, wild. Outside, she finally meets her prince charming: the driver of a Tiguan. She asks for a ride and escapes with her savior in the comfort of his new SUV.
Execution
The film was entirely drawn by hand like the old fairy tale animations and took about 6 months to get ready.
Outcome
The target audience loved the video and often responded back with great comments.
It lead to a significantly increase on the number of Test Drive Schedules on the target.
The impact was so positive that, later on, the brand decided to broadcast the film in cinemas, as well.
