Created from the award-winning mind of Taika Waititi, the film itself is supposed to show the party atmosphere that Belvedere can bring to any situation.

The brief for this project was to bring a vibrant energy to the film. The film starts with a classic Paris Fashion Week style look, emphasizing the blacks from the clothing worn as Daniel walks through the streets of Paris. Then it ends with a more vibrant look that highlights the white and bright purple lights as the dance climaxes.

The main objective of this film was to bring to life a dance party/fashion extravaganza. As the side-by-side film shows, the colours help bring that notion to life.

For the first part of the film, bringing out the more neutral colours, such as white, black, and brown, was essential to give it that classic couture look. However, as the mood shifts and the music heightens, the purple and brighter colours are brought out to show a more vibrant party atmosphere.
