In 2005/6 the Design Council undertook a major strategic review and restructure redefining its purpose to “improve prosperity and well-being in the UK by inspiring and enabling the best use of design”.LBi was appointed to redevelop the Design Council’s website to deliver an online service that raises the awareness and use of design amongst business, the public sector and education decision makers, thereby improving the competitiveness of UK companies and quality of public services.
www.designcouncil.org.uk targets the Design Council’s multiple audiences, including UK businesses (and small businesses in particular), the design industry and opinion formers.
