Description

The director worked with the existing global Diesel campaign, which had a strong anti-Trump message but wasn't relevant to the Japanese market, and localized it with positivity and inclusivity.

In this film, we find three types of walls denying six Japanese protagonists from expressing their love and identity. The first wall is the modern barrier caused by overwork and over-connectedness. The second wall is the social barrier of discrimination and prejudice against the LGBT community. The third wall is the wall within ourselves that keeps us from reaching out to others despite our loneliness.

Three 'Love Soldiers', ambassadors of love and DIESEL, make their way through the city of Shibuya to break down these walls with little actions. In the final scene, the protagonists who have now overcome those walls, break the fourth wall and encourage viewers to "MAKE LOVE NOT WALLS".
