This advert uses a clever transitioning or peppering between the refined playing of chamber music, and the sounds of World War 1.We begin with a delightful piece of chamber music playing, it sounds as though it’s being performedat Downton Abbey at one of their many social events.The searing sound of the violins turn to the whizzes of bullets flying by, the percussion of the basstimpani drum turns to bomb explosions, the rhythmic sections of the musical score turn to the beat of in-step marching troops.In the ebb and flow of music and sound effects, a tense contrast is created, until the sound is that offull on war.
