There's nothing as manly as a beer commercial from the '70s. They were known for two things - men drinking beer in the wilderness and manly jingles. So what better way to promote our campaign—The Manliest Low-Calorie Soda in the History of Mankind—than to recreate one of these old spots? We listened to countless commercials from the '70s in order to capture the earnestness and bravado that the jingles were known for. In radio, we continued the theme by evolving the story of our mountain man and his love of Dr Pepper Ten as well as being one with nature.
