Description
Dunlop tyres are a premium high performance product in the South African market. The client was looking for a big idea that would be unmistakably Dunlop, breaking the generic mould of tyre advertising and creating an ad that is attention grabbing and impactful. This commercial was created to elevate the Dunlop brand status into the premium category. A series of Precision Driving stunts, performed by professional drivers, are used to demonstrate Dunlop's superior product performance. The momentum created by the increasing complexity of the stunts and the number of cars represents Dunlop's drive to becoming brand leader. Ultimately they form to create a giant Dunlop logo "owning the city" and demonstrating the brands dominance in the market.
