The stories told in the "Legends of iSeries" Web movies helped a) introduce new customers to the "legendary" reliability of IBM eServer iSeries servers; b) reinforce IBM's commitment to the iSeries by connecting with existing customers' quirky personal attachment to the hardware. In "Lost," an iSeries continues to do business even when "abandoned" to neglect in an inhospitable environment. Since the launch in June 2003, the Legends movies have had over 24,000 views. More than 700 people signed up for updates on new movies, and over 500+ visitors have passed the site onto a friend.
