Earth Hour is a yearly event in which people all over Australia and the world are encouraged to turn off their lights for an hour to help reduce carbon emissions.
The Australian TV station, SBS, are 100% committed to Earth Hour so this ad was made on their behalf to show their support for the cause and to inspire viewers to participate in the yearly event.
The idea behind the spot was to dramatically demonstrate the positive impact we can have on the environment if we all “switch off” for an hour.
