Description

The idea is The Eat Together Tablecloth.

A tablecloth that actually blocked Wi-Fi. Something to encourage people to actually put down their phones when they’re at the dinner cable and truly connect with each other.

Execution

The Eat Together Tablecloth is created with EMF Shielding Fleece. A metallic material that blocks any phone of Wi-Fi Signals. We first heard of it being used at protests by protesters who were worried about having their information stolen, so they created pouches for their phones, with this material.

We then wrapped the material in a traditional tablecloth fabric, and created a bold design for the top that told people exactly what we wanted them to do: Eat Together.

As of now this is available as a limited-edition item, with plans to have it sold in over 2000 President’s Choice locations next year.

Outcome

The Eat Together Tablecloth was a key piece in the much larger “Eat Together” movement. It’s been covered worldwide in publications like Psychology Today and Forbes magazine as well as topped YouTube’s organic views charts with over 110 Million views.
