We decided to do something relevant and utilize the media. For the first time in the history of Colombian newspapers, El Colombiano allowed us to drag the letter “O” away from its front page headline and locate it in another ad on the same page, as a rejection towards any act of kidnapping.
Outcome
The impact caused by the ad was immediate: all the readers found out about the event, and the march placed thousands of people on the streets. They were crowded with people. Colombia gathered together to impugn this scourge that whips our country.
