Description
An attention grabbing radio campaign promots the Thalia smartphone app. With this app people can easily test read and order books.
We simply retold the most famous books using the most popular communication tools of smartphones: emojis. That’s funny but of course the stories are not told in as much detail as in the real books. That’s why Thalia recommends to enjoy books in a better smartphone version – with the Thalia app.
The emoji-books are presented by a heroic voice-over which raises expectations. Then, we surprise the audience with a mechanic computer voice, which reduces the story to its basis, which are then represented by emojis. So we just needed a few real existing emojis where others needed zillions of words and book pages to tell a certain story. Further we developed our own computer voice which adds humor and generates interest for the books and the Thalia smartphone
