Execution

We started with the simple insight that people who are into car performance, speed and modification also like high-energy fuelled drinks and the rush it gives you. Building on the brands sponsorship of NZ's largest Motoring and lifestyle event '4 and Rotary Nationals' we created ‘Tricked Out’ an online/offline promotion that allowed the consumer to modify, tweak and race a V branded sports car online. We turned each can/bottle of V you bought into a Nitrous boost of speed for the car you raced on the website and took the real car to all the events where you could play tricked out on a big screen gaming arena. The car you raced online was the car you won for real.

Outcome

Like any promotion, you’re never exactly sure on how successful it will be but KPI’s were set before it started. The following results are actual quantifiable stats using online tracking.
