Description

The Enel Environment Portal is one of the themed portals within the wider project "Enel Portal Plan B2B". The site demonstrates Enel's commitment to the environment as one of its core corporate values.The specific objectives of the Enel Environment Portal are to:1. Contextualise the services offered by Enel Group companies that focus on the environment, energy from renewable sources and the territory in which the company operates.2. Create the definitive channel for communication by the company on environmental issues.3. Collect and distribute a large quantity of editorial content covering both technical and legislative aspects of Enel Corporate.The portal has a double value: one related to the business and one to communication.It addresses 3 kinds of customers:1. Insitutional Customers (Local Government, Media and Opinion Makers). For this kind of audience, a model of "institutional" communication was used; it is based on the presentation of initiative organised and relationships forged between Enel and the associations engaged in this sector.2. Companies and professionals. The communication model can be seen as 'info-mercial', catering for two types of information needs: purely technical on the one hand and commercial on the other. The framework for the information is "product-driven", based on the services supplied by the group: environmental certification, quality management, procedures of environmental impact, and planning and management of the impact of "alternative" energy production.3. Scientific Community. This channel develops and discusses issues concerning the relation between energy production, environment and territory.The overall structure is that of a container with macro-areas that develop specialised vertical flows of communication: Corporate, Relationships with institutions, Documentation, Editorial, Services.
