The COVERGIRL FabLab is a fully interactive desktop, mobile and in-store experience. A woman can engage with three main interactive “tools”: ColorMatch, for personalized shade recommendations; Hot Looks, a one-click trend try-on experience; and the remarkable Virtual Try-On, where she can upload an image of herself and “try on” the full spectrum of COVERGIRL products—including those recommended for her—and see how they complement her face, hair and nails. Then, she can add her selections to her shopping cart for purchase, and even save and share her favorite looks to her social networks.
Outcome
FabLab continues to be one of the most highly trafficked areas of the COVERGIRL sites. Each day, nearly 9,000 women visit FabLab. And they each spend an average of more than nine minutes interacting with FabLab’s unique personalization tools. This immersive experience lets each woman find looks and products she might never consider otherwise, which is why it’s not an exaggeration to say that FabLab by COVERGIRL has changed the way women shop for makeup.
