Disney suggested to Cereal Partners that a UK book promotion would make sense on family cereal brands as the heritage of The Chronicles of Narnia in the UK is so great.As CPUK needed more than one premium in the range, they developed the concept of four stories (exclusive books) told from the perspectives of the four Pevensie children, which were then written and printed by Harper Collins in conjunction with the C.S. Lewis Estate. The books were then front-mounted to our cereal packs giving clear visibilty of the book allowing the consumer choice of title.

Outcome

Cereal Partners stock cleared shelves before the end of the promotional time frame, an excellent indicator of a successful promotion, while the film has made over US$75 million to date in the United Kingdom.
