Our client, Nando’s South Africa are a chain of Flame Grilled Peri Peri Chicken family dine-in/take out fast food restaurants. They needed their usual in-store Christmas decorations for the highly competitive 2011 festive season.

We sourced reusable materials from re-purposed advertising billboards and had them cut into manageable strips.We then commissioned residents of the Sithandiwe Disabled Care Centre (based in a Johannesburg township) to assemble the advertising scrap into our clients Christmas decorations.With a bit of tinsel, old billboards were transformed into beautiful, eco-friendly festive wreaths.

This project was a great example of how possible it is to convert waste to wonder, and give back to the communities that support us.
