The five Shinkansen lines serving northeastern Japan run rain or shine, 365 days a year. To call attention to major anniversaries marked by each of the lines, we created an image of Shinkansen trains running through beautiful landscapes of Japan’s four seasons.

Five different Shinkansen lines moving through traditional Japanese seasonal settings are linked in a single seamless cut. The trains and backgrounds are all rendered with computer graphics, emphasizing the innovative technology, impressive speed, and stylish form of the Shinkansen trains.
