In order to grab attention, we wanted to give the illusion that the page itself was extremely heavy and difficult to turn by placing a heavy piece of metal inside the page. We were able conceal a 2.7-pound piece of metal within the page so that it naturally looked as if it was just part of the program. This was to demonstrate how having ALS changes how people are able to do the simplest tasks. From this our goal was to inspire every single guest to kindly reach into their pockets for a good cause.
