Description
G4 was a network that had no identity. What they did have was a media savvy 18-34 year old demographic thirsty for something new. We chose to focus on G4’s late night block of edgy programming as a beachhead to evolve the brand. First, we gave the block a name. The name gave birth to a logo.
And from the logo came the characters that would come to represent Midnight Spank. Vile, offensive, loveable, nasty, sexable monkeys that were as unique and bizarre as the programming they would represent.
And thus, Midnight Spank was born.
Execution
The monkeys were created to be used across every conceivable medium. We produced over 120 unique pieces of animation for viral films, tv commercials, network bump ins and bump outs, MySpace profiles, and countless others.
