Description

Besides traditional news agency sales, GEO wants to expand sales of its magazines via the GEO Web shop. This was supposed to take place on the basis of the GEO magazine issue on over fishing.

Execution

A special gift in the form of a traditional perfume tester ad. Once the lash is opened, the tester smells of fish and the consumer discovers the question: “Will fish soon become a luxury?”The GEO subscription base of various Gruner + Jahr titles was used to send the tester. For example, it was included in women’s magazines like Brigitte.

Outcome

The issue was quickly sold out.
