Background
RCS Sport assigned to our agency the creation and the development of the digital assets (website and app) of “Giro d’Italia”, the most famous Italian cycling race, a great chance and a project that we are very proud of.
The new digital platform created for the 99th edition needed to show a completely renovated interface and a graphic and functional restyling with the objective of offering a simpler and easier online surfing to users.
Execution
For both the app and the website:
- The live section of the Giro stages enhanced by a contemporary and dynamic look & feel.
- Tip - by clicking on the graphic icons you can check live the list of athletes in
the race groups.
- The Giroadvisor section realized in partnership with Tripadvisor to allow fans to plan their trip to one of the stages in the best way possible: where to eat, where to stay, what to visit.
- Facce da Giro, a tool of the app to take a selfie, add a Giro frame and sentence and instantly share it with all your friends.
- The Social Wall, integrated in the website section dedicated to fans, where you can follow what Giro lovers are sharing on Social Media.
