GoDaddy created The Inspirational Business Choir to bring busy small business owners some musical inspiration for the holiday season. The songs were each written to empathize with the ridiculous personal sacrifices that starting a new business constantly requires.
Outcome
Over a four week period starting on Thanksgiving weekend, ‘Inspirational Business Choir’ generated over 3.6 Million Facebook impressions, over 500,000 Facebook actions and over 371,000 YouTube views. It increased social media shares for GoDaddy by 20%.
The campaign was applauded internally at GoDaddy as the most engaging social campaign to date, which given the short duration and the time-pressed holiday season, was a feat, to say the least.
