Description
An interactive window display that, by one single touch, created the real product experience of Google Photos.
In the app, if you search for dog, for instance, it will show you all your dog pictures. To make that happen in a window display, we converted wooden pieces into capacitive sensors, making them touchable objects that can change all the window display content.
Execution
- In collaboration with a production company and architects, we developed the interactive display prototype in only 5 days. 1month later, we put the shop windows and the interactive displays at Fast Shops
- 80 Fast Shop Stores were activated inside of premium shopping malls.
- With a target of AB audience, we needed to present the displays with premium materials. So we built an acrylic structure and combined it with touchable wooden objects to bring that refinement.
- 4 interactive shop windows and 20 interactive displays.
Outcome
- Presented Google Photos on a premium environment (Samsung S7 Edge + Fast Shop) and presented it's features in a innovative way
- 73% of people impacted by the displays understood the message
- 1 million people visited the stores during the campaign. Thousands of them declared that they were going to use the app to keep and organize their photos after that.
