To 'paint the town red' is a well known phrase about celebration. Instead of red, we wanted to Paint the Town Black in celebration of the product and Arthur Guinness, the man behind the pint. For the posters, we chose common symbols of celebration and submerged in them in gallons of black paint - turning the phrase into one wholly ownable by Guinness.
