The primary role of the media team has been to establish the integrity of the broadcast platform. Ensuring that Guinness TV is broadcast weekly, on the enlisted channels, in the intended format, is a hugely complex task. With 3 hours of programming, across 16 countries, on 24 channels, over 13 weeks, the media team is tasked with the challenge of negotiating agreements with relevant stations and monitoring compliance in environments where viewer ratings and commercial profit are not always top priorities.A secondary role of the team is selecting and acquiring programming that is appropriate for communicating the Guinness brand message.
