Description
The design and style we have chosen was simple, clean and with emotional touch. The design has hint of a hand of a child labour and how a simple touch creates a toy around it, which was intended to make people emotional and inspired to act.
The design of the poster will show people how the tools that child labourers has a hint of a toy. The sort of toys that only a privileged child gets to grow up with – rubber ducks, teddy bears and dolls.
We want to inspire people. We want them to donate their old toys. So that children labourers can also enjoy their childhood.
Children Toy Foundation will distribute these old toys. And help kids be kids again.
Execution
We have used simple yet powerful graphic style to grab the attention quickly.
The design has hint of a hand of a child labour and how a simple touch creates a toy around it, which was intended to make people emotional and inspired to act.
We used a cost effective impactful medium, which was easy to produce and implement. We put the poster in those areas where the majority of the people are well educated, well to do and sensitive about these issues. We have chosen areas nearer to toy stores and places near museums, malls, parks and art galleries.
Outcome
As we have expected that majority of the people got inspired and took the message home with them. Children Toy Foundation got a lot of emails and calls from people who wanted to donate their old toys and they wanted know more about the cause.
Helping child labours and underprivileged kids needs inspiration. And this small step and act gave people a starting point and hopefully it will help us solving these issues forever in future.
Most importantly many people got know about the Children Toy Foundation’s initiative. The organisation got awareness, which was very important for them since they don't advertise much. And all with a very low cost yet very impactful advertisement.
