Ta.co is more than just the most perfect URL on the Internet; it unleashes the creativity of all taco lovers, letting them customize every dish on the menu, order online, and skip the line in the store. It is a fully functional e-commerce platform for Taco Bell. This is a first in the QSR category, where e-commerce has never dared to venture. Ta.co hands the keys to the kitchen to every Taco Bell fan and, in doing so, helps Taco Bell stand for creativity and transcend QSR. Welcome to Ta.co, the most creative and craveable e-commerce experience on the Internet. A little URL that stands for the mighty taco.
Execution
We made this one for the fans. From over the top product descriptions to FOMO-inducing photography, right down to the 404 page, every pixel of this site is made for Taco lovers. Our fans needed both fun and functionality, so we held ourselves to the highest standards of design simplicity and now even every young 70-year-old fan can create the taco of their dreams in a few easy clicks. Taking cues from Instagram culture, products are shot the way your friends would snap them. We even wrote the most entertaining product copy, we even did that for a cup of water. To top it all off, we launched in the most Taco Bell way ever: We bought the URL ta.co
