Medium: Newspaper for its sheer reach, popularity and of course the limited media budget.Creative Strategic Solution: To make sure that our ad did not suffer the same fate as hundreds of other newspaper ads, what we did was to make sure our ad literally stood out! In collaboration with The Times of India, we did a small innovation in the newspaper by making sure that one of the pages was not folded in the middle as usual, but a little off the centre thus making that page jut out from the rest by a couple of inches! We then printed our ad on that jutted-out-strip! So apart from our great lighting designs, the innovatively designed ad for it also made sure that there was no way anyone could miss it. It simply stood out from the newspaper. And also from the rest of the regular ads in it.
Outcome
Result: - Thousands of SMS enquiries - 10,903 at the last count.
- Massive increase in footfalls in the stores - by over 300%!
- A very, very happy client.
