Description
Our idea was to meticulously recreate one of the most famous ads of all time, Honda Cog, using only Honda Genuine Parts—except for one.
Execution
The video lived online, where people could share it with the original Honda Cog video or with a brief description for context. The video also ran in dealerships, where its call to action message most relevant and immediately actionable.
Outcome
Our “sequel” had instant talk value. It was posted on YouTube and quickly shared by numerous auto blogs, websites and advertising publications including Gizmodo, Merca 2.0, Adweek, Shots and many others. To date, the video has achieved over 650,000 online views.
