Description
Honda South America needed to create a folder to release the new Honda Fit 2009 in the region. In that folder they needed to promote 3 specific points: the car's new design, more daring and masculine, the car's complete specifications table and the 9 colors the cars could be painted with.Usually they sell more black and silver cars so they wanted the consumer to see that they had a much wider pallete that also looked great.The client also wanted the design to be interactive and innovative because Honda Fit was fully reshaped and had got a very distinct look.
Execution
The concept for the catalogue was presented to the client very early in the process. After his approval we started working on the layout. There were 7 different layouts sent mixing images, colors, backgrounds and types until we reached the current design. When the material was ready to be printed we made some more tests and had to change the knife of the catalogue. After 2 days of final adjustments and 2 more days inside the graphic approving colors in person the final design was complete.
Outcome
It has been only 7 days since the material was launched but Honda said it has had a good impact on its clients so far. Proof of that is their interest in creating a similar catalogue for other car models next year.
