To soften prospects to an upcoming sales message when the green account launched, we needed to drive traffic to a microsite and seed HSBC’s strong green credentials.By gently harnessing the plight of the polar bear (an animal in ever growing danger as the polar ice caps continue to melt), we gave prospects an opportunity to interact with the bear by giving him a little tickle all within the 30k filesize limit.A CTR of 0.13% for a traffic driving led piece of communication with no direct offer, or immediately available product was above anticipated response rates!
