Execution

Our shadows have been around for as long as we have. The idea of using them to tell us when the sun is most dangerous has never been done before. This produced a simple, relevant message which Suncorp delivered to the right people at exactly the right time.

Suncorp is the leading banking and financial services institution in Queensland. Queensland also happens to be the skin cancer capital of the world with a new diagnosis being made in Australia every 90-seconds. As a good corporate citizen, Suncorp has been running skin cancer awareness campaigns in Queensland for over a decade.

Outcome

The response on the day was exceptional, with many children interacting with the Human Sundial. Local media picked up on the live stunt, and the event is being rolled out across the State.
