Description

The future looked bright for Tine Iced Coffee – until Starbucks launched their own range in Norway. With an aggressive campaign they stole almost 40% of the market, so we had to create a platform that would keep our fans loyal. We approached the task with a simple thought: both body and brain need energy to perform. As the product itself provides energy for the body, we created advertising that would energize the brain, and could be consumed within the same two minutes it takes to drink a Tine Iced Coffee.Creative strategic solution: Tine Iced Coffee – refill and refresh in two minutes. We used outdoor and magazine ads to create attention, drive sales and get people to download the app. Every Tine Iced Coffee got a QR code that when scanned, unlocked content in app. The app had a reward program, designed to spread the campaign in social media and recruit new customers with a discount coupon.Starbucks dropped from 40 to 27%, and their sales trend is negative. Meaning, our campaign was a success! We’ve created a platform that rewards and interacts with the target group, which also can exist in the future without any media spending. The future once again looks bright, for Tine Iced Coffee and for people who needs energy for both the body and the brain.

Execution
