Description
Every two weeks a woman in Switzerland dies as a result of domestic violence. The goal of the Center for Women Zurich (Frauenzentrale Zürich) was to raise awareness for this delicate topic without showing outright violence.
We portray women and their partners in seemingly everyday situations at home. But the partners look exactly like infamous dictators and tyrants from world history. No visible violence has to be shown to make the viewer realise the dangerous situation of these women.
Many seemingly charming and loveable men only show their other, darker side after some time. Then they out themselves as power hungry and violent. The campaign aims to raise awareness for this hidden threat.
The campaign pushed a delicate societal topic back into the minds of the Swiss. A topic many weren't aware of to its full extent up until now.
