Overview

Background

Situation:

In Chile, over the last year, one out of four women was a victim of domestic violence. It is predicted that the situation is far from improving due to the victims' lack of reporting and the difficulty of identifying this problem.

Brief:

Create a communication that provides essential information to educate society about domestic violence and contact details for help.

Objectives:

Increase the number of calls received by the emergency and helpline numbers of the foundation.

Idea

In several museums around the world, works classified as masterpieces are exhibited, but at the same time they hide acts of violence against women, such as the "The Martyrdom of Santa Apolonia" by Guido Reni. Under this observation, we brought together renowned artists and created a unique exhibition, with works of art that hid real stories of domestic violence suffered by women.

The works were interactive and when scanned, they revealed the testimony of someone close to the victim with the key details to detect a problem of violence and the information necessary to get help.

Strategy

Society in general across the country. People who are unaware of issues related to domestic violence or who suffer from it.

Execution

The exhibition has been touring important places in the country for several months, including the renowned GAM cultural center, and soon we will be present at the country's senate facilities.

Outcome

So far the campaign has had important results, we have reached more than 100,000 people, calls to emergency numbers have increased by 25% and we have also managed to identify 3 new cases of domestic violence, which are already receiving help.
