To do this, we used a device that is found in every coffee shop in Switzerland: a wooden clamp, which prevents newspaper bundles from falling apart. The stunt was simple, but effective: the newspapers were clamped in the wrong way and thus made impossible to read – access to information was denied, and the necessity of Reporters Without Borders was illustrated.
Outcome
Interest in Reporters Without Borders increased as evidenced by a rise in the number of hits on their website.
