OVERVIEW

Background

Norwegian teens live under extreme pressure from social- and news media, which makes mental health issues increase, especially amongst young boys. In fact boys commit almost 70% of all the suicides by teens in Norway.

Norwegian Red Cross' anonymous help- chat- and call service 'Kors På Halsen' wanted to address boys who struggle, and let them know they have someone to talk to.

Their goal was to increase the general knowledge about 'Kors På Halsen' and the use of their services amongst teens in Norway.

Execution

The campaign launched on 27.02.17 with a film about sexual orientation, followed by a film about body issues 08.03.17, and on 12.06.17 a film about loneliness were posted. All three films were posted as sponsored Facebook posts and organic on the norwegian Red Cross’ Facebook page.
