Description
The idea is to use movie remakes and other contents and superimpose them with their older versions. We applied the interference, thus alluding that every time the signal quality drops, you are stuck to the past.
Execution
To show how harmful a poor digital TV signal can be to entertainment content, we created a series of posters using “glitches interferences” as a resource to mix recent and old versions of the same characters from famous movies. It’s a fresh way to present the idea that “bad TV signal outdates your TV”. The first poster of the series shows a recent Heath Ledger version from the Batman movies from the 2000s mixed with an older Cesar Romero version of the same character from the 1960's TV show in form of interference. The second one shows the famous duo Captain Kirk and Spock in two versions: the one from the recent acclaimed remakes and the classic one. The last poster brings a mix between the 1940’s King Kong and the recent Peter Jackson version.
Outcome
• Brand awareness increment
• Increase of more than 50% of consumer interest when adding all sales channels.
• Increase of HDTV sales
• Greater perception on quality from viewers
