People who want to make smart investments shouldn’t trust to luck, but rather Sparkasse’s investment experts. We chose an unusual and attention-getting vehicle for this message: wishing wells all over Germany. The following investment tip was spelled out in coins at the bottom of the wells: 'Wishes? Better to invest your money safely. Sparkasse Bank.' Brochures about the safe investment products of the Sparkasse Bank were distributed by promotion teams near the fountains.
Outcome
The Sparkasse Bank wishing well-promotion got a lot of attention. 11,500 brochures were distributed by the promotion teams throughout Germany. Four out of ten Sparkasse Bank customers had seen the wishing well installation before visiting their local Sparkasse Bank office.
