Background
Hyundai’s brand new, all-electric vehicle, IONIQ 6, has a unique typology, embodying the silhouette of the new era. It features a sensuous and streamlined silhouette to minimize air resistance as well as a large interior space. To make an impactful introduction of our EV design that perfectly combines technology with aesthetics, we needed a new approach.
Outcome
The 3D film features anamorphic art and demonstrates the IONIQ 6's sensuous aerodynamic design. It also displays a vivid image of the vehicle on the road from different angles, creating a high-quality optical illusion that makes passers-by stop in their tracks.
Additionally, we have overcome the limitations that outdoor advertisements face regarding viewers by also producing on-site films taken at places where Anamorphosis is best experienced. The immersive content has facilitated the IONIQ 6’s user experience globally, resulting in a higher level of interest in and empathy with the new age of mobility.
The 3D design film has received nonstop praise from major media outlets. In addition, with the rising number of viewers on YouTube, a survey conducted in Korea, the US, the UK, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, and France showed a VTR (view through rate) of 75%, exceeding expectations by 20.28%.
