Description

The Beatles, who are widely considered to be the best rock group ever, had never made their music available digitally until now. So to announce that the Beatles would finally be available on iTunes, we wanted to show what a momentous occasion this was -- and celebrate the band itself. We did this by comparing their arrival on iTunes (The largest music retailer in the United States) to their arrival in America. In “Coming to America” we see archival footage of the Beatles reception in the United States, from their introduction by Ed Sullivan to crowds of screaming fans. Simple titles appear that say, “In 1964 they came to America…” followed by “Now they’re coming to iTunes.”
