In order to match and extend the original photograph, attention to detail was very important. Everything from the angle of the original camera, the grain of the film, the wardrobe and the physical elements of the scene itself matched the originals.

The stage from Woodstock was built in a studio to the exact original specifications. The amps on stage were hand built to match what would have been on stage in 1969. Our plywood used to build the stage was stamped with the original plywood manufacturers stamp. All the instruments were originals from the 60’s.

We built Nasa control consoles to match exactly to the originals. Even the screws were individually fabricated to be historically accurate. The plate used in our shot was accurate to the originals used in Nasa’s Houston cafeteria and all other props from the headsets to the wardrobe were matched to what really was there.
