Background
We needed to appeal to younger drivers, for whom connectivity and convenience were main purchase drivers, rather than traditional vehicle performance.
For our young, tech-savvy audience, highlighting how the Nissan Kicks worked seamlessly with the personal tech devices gave it a utility and relevance that would never have been achieved through a traditional film.
Execution
Working with film director, Rupert Sanders, and special effects company, The Mill, we created a film in which a Nissan Kicks is built by hand, from personal tech devices.
Using source files from the actual vehicle, post-production artists constructed a 3D version of the Nissan Kicks that would build around the lead talent, in an absorbing, fascinating way, unlike anything we’d seen before.
